So Close is a collection inspired not around a written story but around a song and the story it tells. This song, So Close, sung by Jon McLaughlin, has been one of my favoirite songs for years. It has always made it onto my inspiration playlists and I felt it was time to make it the star of the show. The song paints an image of a couple that have many intimate moments together in stolen moments. Potentially a very complicated relationship or a pair of star crossed lovers. We chose to use fabrics and laces with lot of texture and interest. Mixing of laces is one of the most fashion foward techniques we have used in this collection. The sillhouettes of this collection were very important to me to continue to be sophisticated and elegant. We feature many sheath gowns, modified a-lines, fit and flare and two large ballgowns.
