Lorien is a stunning vintage inspired wedding gown. A pale ivory crepe base with a champagne floral lace overlay this gown is breathtaking! The crepe gown is cut in a sheath silhouette with illusion straps and low back. Cut in a sweetheart shape the neckline has a soft curve and point in the center above the bust. The curve and point of the sweetheart sit above the bustline so as to not show too much décolletage; balancing out the low back. Then, as the crepe neckline swings around it drops down curving at the low back for a bit of sex appeal. Covering the back is an illusion base that goes up and over the shoulders in a boat neck fashion. Hand sewn to the illusion floral lace that looks like it’s growing across the bride’s shoulders and back. Finishing the center of the back are pearlized buttons that match the beads used on the lace.
A waist seam, straight on the front and dropped low in the back, attaches the sheath skirt to the bodice of the gown. Hugging the bride’s curves around her hips and down her thighs the dress then begins to flare out. With a small flare, that is there for movement, the skirt then flows out into one of our largest trains. The crepe train extends thirty inches down center back while the lace train extends forty one inches. A small petticoat could be added to the skirt to create a small trumpet silhouette.
Lace
The full champagne lace overlay covers the entire crepe gown. The floral lace branches out to look as if it’s growing along the beautiful gown. Each flower, stem and leaf detail has iridescent beading hand sewn into the design. When a different colorway of this gown is chosen the beautiful lace stays the same and the crepe is what changes color.
Lastly, our gowns all come with boning and bra cups built into the bodice.
