Zuri

Zuri is a mock neck wedding dress with a fitted mermaid skirt made from a stretch crepe. Beginning with the lace overlay. The lace bodice is sewn into a horizontal seam that sits at the natural waist in the front. It then wraps down the back curving to dip low. The lace stays fairly fitted up throughout the bodice until it widens for a wide mock turtle neckline. The scallop of the lace is used along the edge of the neckline. This is so that as it stretches across the front, the scallop delicately reaches up the bride’s neck. Long lace sleeves are sewn into the overlay and end in the same scallop that adorns the neckline. Closing the overlay is a row of metal shank bridal buttons down the center back seam. 

The main bodice underneath the lace is made from the same stretch crepe as the skirt and is cut into a tank top shape. Mimicking the curve of the back seam this back neckline drops down from one inch wide straps onto the low back. In the front the tank top style straps dip down into a curved sweetheart neckline. Dipping to bra strap level, this low point shows off the decólletage for a sexy peek-a boo moment through the lace.

As mentioned above the skirt on this beautiful gown is cut in a mermaid silhouette. Caressing the hips and upper legs of the bride the skirt doesn’t begin to flow out until the knees. A twenty inch train stretches out behind the bride with a godet for added fullness to the train. Finally, the lace on this mock neck wedding dress is adorned with small beads and sequins and features a scroll like pattern with some geometric micro detailing. Perfect for the bride who doesn’t want to wear her flowers.
